2007 Homem Spcon Concession Trailer
Beware!!! There are numerous supposedly different people selling this same item.When I had contacted them they refused to call me on the phone and insisted on going though a 3rd party to arrange payment.As it would turn out I have a friend that lives close to where the trailer is.When I had mentioned that he could meet her at the shipping warehouse and pay in person .She gave me another lame answer as to why she can't do that. It's strange that 5 others are selling the same trailer for 3,400.00 as well.Or is it just one person??? Scam Alert

ReplyDeleteWell, I went to craiglook and searched for a food concession trailer, and I found 14 adds for the same trailer,using the very same pics, all in different states.I emailed the location that is the closest to me. This is in Maine. We emailed eachother several times. She said the reason that the price was so low , was because her and her husband seperated and she has no use for it.She wanted me to make payment to a 3rd party, and then she would deliver it. Well when i told her that I only lived a few hours away, and I wanted to pay and pick up the trailer,I never got any more emails......I saw another add in dallas Texas, humm, I called my cousin in Fort Worth Texas , I advised him what I was doing and asked him to make contact and to snoop around. He said that he wanted to buy it, but he wanted to pick it up himself, at the same time that he was going to purchase it. Well that was the end of the emails again. I did a little investigating myself . I found the origional trailer (vin # AZ300276) which was sold through a high end automotive dealer in Tempe, Az. I contacted the dealer and he advised me that that trailer was listed and sold last year. You can Google the name of the trailer with the automotive dealer and see the specs on this trailer. I guess the funny part is that the scammers are even using the origional pics that the auto dealer used on its web site.......Go ahead ,and check it out for a laugh.....Google, Homem Spcon Desert Autoplex. I hope no one gets beat by these scammers,,,,,, Jay.

I to have been in contact with this person about purchasing this concession trailer.Same thing she is in a divorce dispute and is willing to sell this for a very low price. We have exchanged a couple of E Mails back and forth. As of right now we will discontinue all contacts with this transaction.

Thanks for the advisement. My husband found this ad on craigs list in Seattle. To goood to be true, so i did a little research and saw this post. They now are selling it for $2900. Still going thru a divorce and the trailer is in Kentucky. I figured it was a scam. Went back to craigs list to spam it and the ad was gone. Sure hope nobody gets scamed by this.

Thank you for posting all of this, we found the same listing in Chicago 4-6-11. Same story she is going through a divorce and was selling this concession trailer for $2500.00. ReplyDeleteI'm from Tucson,Az the same concession trailer was being sold for 2900.00 he told me that he was going thru a divorce and he worked on a oil rig and was not able to be there at the sale but it would be delivered within 5 days from Texas and we could secure payment thru google checkout with a 5 day delay.
ReplyDeleteWow im from Tulare california. i have been looking for a concession trailer. I believe this is the same trailer. as stated above by jeffrey. I have had several email and the gentleman told me he was in a divorce taking a major loss. and he would let it go for 2500 we could split the shipping cost which was going to be $400 from texas to tulare california. he also told me about the google check out. I have never spoke to the man as he said he was on an oil rig, that he wouldnt be able to meet me for the sale as he was a petroleum engineer. I mentioned a brother in texas. But again he wouldnt be available as he is on an oil rig.. This is crazy people are really scandolous. Im glad i found this as 2500 is all my money and that would have just killed me..

I am happy to see sites such as this so we can all use the internet to bust these scammers insead of them continueing to take advantage of us!!
ReplyDeleteJust found this on craigslist, Jax FL. Same thing, $2950, 5 days to inspect, and payment through Google Checkout. Said he's going through divorce and can't meet in person because he's working on an oil rig!! Glad I checked this out...
ReplyDeleteI just have had contact with this person. I asked if I could come look at the trailer and his email response was simply "no". I replied that I though it sounded like a scam and would be reporting to Craigslist. His next response was "I am using Google checkout you fucking moron." I think I might have hit a button with him. Seems a little angry...

I must say that is a very reluctant sale because I'm going through a divorce right now, and I'm in a time crunch, which forces me to sell it under market value. This turns out to be a financial disaster for me. Anyone who went through a divorce knows exactly what I'm talking about! Therefore, the price is $2,900, with all the delivery and handling costs included.
Because of my work i`m not able to meet you in person ( I'm a petroleum engineer and I'm currently located on an oil rig ). ReplyDeleteSo glad I saw this! Same trailer/person now trying to sell in Indianapolis. Guess, he/she is working his/her way east!! Might play along with him/her for a while just to f*** with them. Scammer douches such as this deserve it!!!
